Dead zone in one area
A localised dead zone is almost always a hardware fault. Remove any screen protector and retry; if the zone persists, the digitiser needs replacement.
Ghost touches everywhere
Ghost touches often come from a bad charger injecting electrical noise. Unplug the charger and retest. If the ghost touches disappear, replace the charger with a certified unit.
Multi-touch only registers 2 fingers
Older or budget panels sometimes cap at 2 touch points. Check the manufacturer spec sheet — if the panel is rated for 10 points but only shows 2, the controller firmware or driver may need an update.
Delay between touch and response
