The 10-minute laptop analyzer checklist
1. Screen (2 minutes)
Run the dead pixel and screen test at full screen. Cycle through red, green, blue, white and black. Look for dots that stay dark or bright, cloudy patches on black near the edges, and uneven tint across white. Then open the refresh rate test to confirm the panel runs at the Hz on the spec sheet.
2. Keyboard (2 minutes)
Open the keyboard test and press every key once, including Fn combinations. A key that never lights up is dead. A key that lights up twice from one press is chattering. A group of dead keys close together usually points to liquid damage.
3. Touchpad and mouse (1 minute)
The mouse test checks left and right clicks, double click speed, and scrolling. Drag a finger slowly across the whole pad and watch for jumps or dead zones.
4. Battery (2 minutes)

5. Speakers and microphone (1 minute)
